Celebrating Territory Homes: DABSCO’s Year in Review

As 2025 comes to a close, we’re taking a moment to reflect on another big year for DABSCO. For nearly 60 years, we’ve proudly stood alongside Territorians, helping to build homes and businesses that are cooler, safer, and stronger – and this year has been no exception.

From exciting projects across the Top End to new product launches and community support, here’s a look back at what made 2025 so special.

Building Stronger Territory Homes

This year, our team completed a wide variety of projects – from family homes to commercial spaces. Highlights included:

• Katherine High School Projects – M & J Builders completed construction on the school’s new STEAM Centre and Block R, providing students with hands-on learning opportunities through the Student Experience Initiative. DABSCO was proud to play a part in delivering durable, functional solutions to support education in the Territory.

• Gateway Shopping Centre, Palmerston – Stage 2 – completed with Tailor-made Building Services, this new development brings major retailers BCF (Boating, Camping, Fishing) and Rebel Sport as anchor tenants, creating a local hub for the community.

• Local Cafés and Small Businesses – like Auntie’s Café on Mitchell Street, where we installed Crimsafe screens under the BizSecure grant, supporting both security and local business growth.

And on top of that, we proudly introduced new product innovations tailored for Territory living, including the Bradnam’s Signature Aluminium Entrance Door – a modern alternative to timber that’s built to last in harsh NT conditions

Supporting Territory Sport & Community

At DABSCO, we believe strong businesses are built on strong communities. This year, we were proud to back a range of sporting teams and clubs, including:

• NRL NT Premiership – continuing our sponsorship of the DABSCO NRL Premiership, supporting local rugby league talent.

• Territory Stingers Hockey Team – helping our Territory athletes shine on national and international stages, including the Malaysian Hockey League.

• Darwin Horse and Pony Club – contributing to grassroots sport and community events that bring people together.

These partnerships reflect what matters most to us – supporting Territorians to grow, compete, and succeed, both on and off the field.

As we move towards celebrating our 60th birthday in 2026, we’re reminded of the trust Territorians have placed in us since 1966.
